Matt Moos is President of the Board of Directors for the IBC and
Co-Founder of Beat The Streets Toledo. A native of Lorain, Ohio he
graduated from The Ohio State University where he was on the Dean's List
for multiple semesters, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with
a minor in Marketing. Matt also operates a branch of Moos Printing &
Advertising Inc. in the Greater Toledo Area.
He brings over 20 years experience in the sport of wrestling to the IBC.
During his wrestling career, he wrestled for the Greco-Roman Ohio
National Team where he was one match away from earning All-American
honors. Matt graduated from Amherst Marion L. Steele High School where
he was Vice President of Student Council and Captain of both wrestling
and golf teams, leading both to their 1st Conference Team Titles in
school history. He was named Cleveland Plain Dealer Player of the Week
and All-Star Team Selection in both golf and wrestling, Southwestern
Conference Champion in both golf and wrestling, Southwestern Conference
Golf Player of the Year, County wrestling champion and Sectional
Runner-Up. He was also the Sectional Champion for Golf and went on to
qualify for the Open State Tournament, winning the regional on the
second hole of a sudden death playoff with a broken knee cap. During
college, he coached Varsity Wrestling at Elyria High School with
legendary Erik Burnett.
Matt has volunteered at the Capital Area Humane Society, Columbus
Childrens' Hospital Reach Out and Read Program, the Ypsilanti Food Bank
and Community Center, and most recently, he has helped with the Marine
Corps’ Toys for Tots program in Toledo.
Harry Cummins, III is the Executive Director of the IBC, Institute for
Building Careers and Beat The Streets Toledo. Harry is retired from GM,
where he worked for more than 32 years. He attended the Universities of
Michigan and Toledo and completed coursework in business management,
financial management, government, accounting, data processing, and team
facilitation. He is a professionally licensed sports promoter,
matchmaker, and corner man with more than 20-years experience in
promoting bodybuilding, power-lifting, and amateur boxing competitions.
As the IBC's founder, Cummins has coached more than 4,000 at-risk youth
since 1998, taking many of them to competitions throughout the country.
For the past three years, both boys and girls from the IBC have brought
home World Championship Awards from the Ringside World Boxing
Championship Competitions, the largest amateur boxing competition in the
world. Cummins was named "Coach of the Year" by Bedford's Best Baseball
Little League and served as a past chairperson for the University of
Toledo's New Union of Blacks Improving America Summer Games.
